This is a letter of gratitude to the Yonsei Knee and Spine Hospital for their care and hospitality during my stay there for an arthroscopic knee surgery.
I was treated with great professionalism and kindness during my stay there.
For many months I was misdiagnosed at many different hospitals causing my knee problems to become worse and unresolved.
As I was introduced to the Yonsei Knee and Spine Hospital, Dr. Jin Ho Jae, who was my doctor, showed his great knowledge and special attributes to correctly assess what the problem was and the method of surgery I needed to have to correct my knee. He showed great care and concern for me even though I was a foreigner and treated me the same as all of his other patients.
Knowing my lack of the Korean language, Dr. Jin Ho Jae showed great professionalism by explaining all that I needed to know accurately in English which brought a great sense of relief to my mind.
As it was my first time having surgery done, Dr. Jin Ho Jae and his staff showed extra care and attention to calm my nerves and reassured me that the surgery would be conducted without any complications.
I cannot express my gratitude to the hospital and Dr. Jin Ho Jae for caring for my well being so much. I felt like I was part of their family.
Once again I thank Yonsei Knee and Spine Hospital for their amazing professionalism and great care towards their patients.
I believe the Yonsei Knee and Spine Hospital is comparable or better than many other hospitals even compared to the American Institutions of Healing.

관절경무릎수술을 받고 연세무척나은병원에 입원해 있는 동안 관심과 환대를 받은 것에 대한 감사 편지입니다.
제가 입원해 있는 동안 연세무척나은병원의 사람들은 훌륭한 전문성과 친절로 대해 주었습니다.
몇 달 동안 무릎에 문제가 악화되고 해결되지 않은 원인은 여러 타 병원에서 잘못된 진단을 했기 때문입니다.
그런데 연세무척나은병원의 제진호 박사는 제가 한국어에 미숙하다는 것을 알고 정확하게 무엇이 문제인지를 알아내기 위해 뛰어난 지식과 특별함을 보여주었으며 내 질환에 대해 영어로 정확하게 설명해주는 그의 전문성에 위안과 안도가 되었습니다.
수술날짜가 다가오자 제진호 박사와 직원들은 내가 불안해 할까봐 각별한 주의와 관심을 보여주었으며 수술은 합병증 없이 실시될 것이라고 안심시켜 주었습니다.
저는 많은 걱정을 했었기 때문에 더욱더 제진호 박사에게 어떻게 감사를 표현해야 할지 모르겠습니다. 저는 입원해 있는동안 마치 그들의 가족 일부인 것처럼 느껴졌습니다.
다시 한 번 연세무척나은병원의 놀라운 전문성과 환자를 향한 큰 관심에 대해 감사를 보냅니다.
미국의 많은 병원과 비교할 때 연세무척나은병원이 더 낫다고 생각합니다. 감사합니다.
